72 hours loving KL

<ˈkwaːla ˈlumpʊr> What we learnt on our stopover in Kuala Lumpur is: Definitely come back to stay and explore Malaysia more intensively! The city with around 1,78 million people and an incredible cultural mix is one of the places to be in Asia! Indians, Malays, Chinese, Muslims, Buddhists, Christians, Taoists,...the city is pluralistic and religiously diverse. What this means? In Kuala Lumpur you get the full bunch of architecture, culture, relegion, food and music from almost all over the world! All we can say is: We love KL! :)

Menara KL Tower The first stopover thing we did, was to go up onto the skydeck of the KL Tower, Menara. This gives you an awesome first view of the city and it's architectural highlights, like the Petronas Towers in the neighbourhood.

Shopping

Kuala Lumpur is a great plae for shopping. Core places of the city are connected by a tunnel system, of course cooled down by an AC and allows to take a city walk without sweating in the tropical heat. All western formats can be found in the malls downtown.

Religious

 In all districts you can find religious uniqueness. The most colorful and loudest ceremonies are the hindu ones, where daily rituals are celebrated with everyone who wants to join.

Markets An asian phenomenon is the marketmania, what we miss a lot in our european places. People come together to sell, buy and eat and it is never boring.
